Meet Tiffany
It's a pleasure to introduce myself; I'm Tiffany Tate Hogan, and I'm excited to represent District 5 on the DeKalb School District Board.
I'm a strong advocate for educational equity and have over 25 years of experience in public education. With a Ph.D. in education, I've specialized in creating fair tests for teachers and conducting vital research. I've also spent more than a decade as a school leader and educator, giving me an in-depth understanding of how schools work. Today, I coordinate the assessment process for a school district, and my main goal is to ensure fairness in education, making sure every child receives the support they need to thrive and find their purpose.
As a candidate for School Board District 5, my top priorities are to put students first, support teachers, strengthen academics, ensure safety, and demand accountability.
I invite you to join me in my mission to enhance our schools and create a brighter future for all students. As I ask for your vote for the DeKalb District 5 seat, I would like to share my vision regarding my Top 5 priorities for our children and our schools:

Commitment: Providing unwavering support to the educators who pour their heart and soul into shaping the future of our students.
Literacy
Foundation: Acknowledging that a strong academic foundation is crucial for success, I am dedicated to enhancing the quality of education, with a specific focus on literacy.
Initiative: Implementing measures to improve literacy rates and ensure that every student has the tools and resources needed for academic achievement.
Safety
Priority: Ensuring a safe and secure learning environment is paramount for the well-being of our students and educators.
Action: Working tirelessly to create a reassuring atmosphere that fosters a sense of security for all, allowing students and teachers to focus on learning and teaching; so that every student has the tools and resources needed for academic achievement
Accountability
Principle: Upholding the highest standards of transparency and responsibility in all decision-making processes.
Commitment: A laser focus on ensuring accountability to the community by remaining true to promises and goals, fostering trust in our educational initiatives.
